It looks great! I've tried textures before but just can't seem to figure out how to do it or get the hang of it.

Yours is wonderful, especially for your 1st time!

I think your hands did a fabulous job on that texture! Wow, Sam!

Kala Friday, August 20, 2010

I love it!

Manang Kim Friday, August 20, 2010

Hi Anthony I think it's impressive, very impressive. I know in putting texture to a certain object it's quite tricky because for me it takes a very good eye and talent to do it and you've got it!! Keep it coming I am also inspired to copy you hahahahahaha!! Happy Friday!

It's beautiful. Looks like a painting.

Greyscale Territory Saturday, August 21, 2010

This looks like a beautiful watercolour painting on a card! The textures add interesting detail without taking away from the beauty of the flower!

Slugyard Saturday, August 21, 2010

It certainly is interesting- nice effect.

maiaT Saturday, August 21, 2010

I like it, nice processing. The background texture emphasizes the little flower even more.

leavesnbloom Saturday, August 21, 2010

Its really lovely to be able to change a photo into what is just like a painting. You have excelled with this photo.

Turning photos into textures is a hobby of mine too though I've shown very little of my work on the internet.

Jama Sunday, August 22, 2010

It comes out beautifully and I like it. I've seen these wild flowers here in Singapore.

EG Wow Sunday, August 22, 2010

I think it turned out very well!

Elaine @ Commotion Monday, August 23, 2010

It has the appearance of a painting....it's very beautiful!!

Julie Monday, August 23, 2010

It is not JUST the texture that transforms the image, Anthony. It is also the layering that you have used. To my eye it appears as though you have a leaf of tissue paper between the flower and its plant. The effect is quite beautiful, less a photograph and more a work of art.

Bravo!

Evelyn Monday, August 23, 2010

nice textures.

angelcel Monday, August 23, 2010

Very Nice! That background almost looks like a painting!

Digital Flower Pictures Wednesday, September 01, 2010

I think it came out nice. The composition helped make the texture look good.

catsynth Wednesday, September 01, 2010

Interesting texture. It makes the image appear to be on fabric or canvas. I like the sharp contrasts of the flower, too.

amandab Wednesday, September 01, 2010

It looks really wonderful. One day I might be game enough to buy and use some photo software. One day!

Happy WW!
