Varthur Lake

Varthur Lake is situated in the eastern periphery of Bangalore city and is a main source of water for irrigation in Varthur.
Lake streatches about 2 Km in width and is about 7 - 10 feet deep and is frequented by lot of migrating ducks. One can catch up a beautiful sunset here. Lakes ecosystem is under continuous degradation because of sewage and contaminated water from nearby industries.

  9. It's a very beautiful place specially that you can watch sunset here. I hope the government will gonna take an extra effort to tell the industrial factories to do something with there water before it is too late. Happy weekend!
