The clarity of the little buds at the top waiting for their time to open is quite wonderful, Anthony. And I do appreciate the depth of field even on the blooms that are more open. The final effect might have been enhanced with a bit more black in it, say a branch or something like that. Just to cover a bit more of the grey scale for a monochrome shot.
But the other aspects (clarity and DoF) are spot on.
Yes - ofcourse an ant is longing for the summer - and so am I! Great picture for monocrome - and great for me. Soon we will be there ;) I like the great picturemotifes in the winter, but still.... :) HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR DEAREST ONES!
