46 Can You Spot The Rain?

If you cant, just look below the black clouds. This photo was shot from the summit of Nandi Hills, Bangalore. I could not belive my eyes when i saw this spectacular view, You can see how the cloud is casting shadow on the land below them and the rain pouring from the black cloud. It was very windy on top , and it took about 15 min for these dangerous looking clouds to reach where i was standing, I had to run for shelter.  They passed as fast as they came. Hope seeing rain from this perspective is something new to many of you, just like it was for me.

I love the perspective you shot this from. Beautiful scenery and a great shot.

Kay L. Davies Tuesday, September 21, 2010

I don't think I've ever seen rain from this perspective. On long drives, I've seen rain falling ahead, then driven through it and come out the other side, but I've never seen anything like this. Beautiful. Thank you.

This is an awesome view! I am assuming you hiked to this location? If so...what a scenic day it must have been. And, a distant rainstorm to freshen the air...fabulous!
