ReplyDeleteThese are outstanding captures of the old Pontiac! In fact, that was the year I was born. This is really beautiful photography, Anthony...something Pontiac would be proud of!

That is one amazing hood ornament!!
ReplyDeleteChief Pontiac never looked so noble as he does here! The classy Pontiac silver streaks look great, almost like a streamlined locomotive from the 19030s. The straight-8 engine is nice to see when the hood (boot) is opened. Nice!
ReplyDeleteOh wow that is classic. Love it!
ReplyDeleteMacro Monday~Butterfly
Thanks Kala
ReplyDeleteThanks Ralph, I didnt get a chance to look what's under the hood, these were prised posessions of the owener's and many had put boards asking not to touch to avoid any damage from curious visitor's
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! They are pretty fancy cars. Happy Ruby Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteSamson: I remember the hood ornaments on the old Pontiac, a car no longer made.
ReplyDeleteHi Sammy, I like the way you enticed with the closeup shots and then unveiled the "monster" Pontiac in all it's glory. Great macros!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo!! I love the composition. You also captured a wonderful reflection. Very cool shot.
ReplyDeleteWell done! I love shooting hood ornaments too. Also, the front of the Pontiac is awesome perspective and shot on its own!
ReplyDeleteSuch fun to see all those old cars!! Wow! they sure look different from the ones today! Unfortunately, I can remember them all too well! Have a great week, Sam!
ReplyDeleteSylvia
That is such a beautiful series of photos! Everything looks so shiny! ;)
ReplyDeleteThe demise of the hood ornament is a sad, sad loss.
ReplyDeleteI just love the elongated lines of your very first shot, Anthony. aND i really appreciate seeing the entire front of the vehicle to get some sort of perspective. Love all cars that are all shined up for a grand occasion.
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning set of photos of something sort of mundane in some ways. I agree with hootin annie about the first shot... stunning. But they are all exquisite.
ReplyDeleteLove it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
