26 Ant

Noticed a coloney of ants in a rose plant and thought they would be nice subjects for some macro shots, getting a decent shot of these critters was tougher than i thought, they hide under the leaves the moment i got my camera lense close to them and they are restless, dont stop for a single moment, spent about 40 min for an ant to come and stop at the right place to get a nice picture and all the circus was worth when i got this shot which i like a lot. Do you like it too?

Excellent macro dear Anthony! You photographed that little ant so well that I can almost say that I see an expression on its face. Very nice colours composition, perfect sharpness. Great photo!

I love it, awesome shot. Having spent considerable time on bees I can imagine how difficult these little fellows would be to capture.

Great header photo too.
